A photo has come out showing House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif) meeting with Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak in 2010.
This photo was significant as a day earlier she stated that she had had not met with the diplomat ever in her entire life. This revelation is similar to the statements released by Claire McCaskill. McCaskill tweeted that in her 10 years serving on the Armed Services Committee she had never “ever” met with Kislyak, but walked back her comment by using the same reasoning as Pelosi, saying she had never met with him one-on-one. Pelosi’s office responded predictably, by saying what she meant was that she had never had a one-on-one meeting with Kislyak. “Leader Pelosi’s answer to the question today was clearly about private, one-on-one meetings, which she has never had with Ambassador Kislyak,” Pelosi spokesman Drew Hammill said. This response is even funnier than Sessions. Considering the fact that There’s simply no evidence as of yet that Sessions met with the Russian ambassador about the Trump campaign. Meanwhile, there’s photographic evidence that she met the Russian ambassador.
