Culture SN: Robert Kennedy Jr Bombshell on Democrats Trump Could Be Greatest President in History!2/27/2017 Robert Kennedy Jr Drops Trump Bombshell on CNN… Could Be Greatest President in History
To liberals, there’s nothing worse than if a liberal says that President Donald Trump isn’t a bad guy. Unless they do it on CNN. And that liberal happens to be a Kennedy. Then it’s a lot worse. That’s exactly what happened, however, when Robert F. Kennedy Jr. went on CNN to talk about the new president with Don Lemon. According to The New York Times, Kennedy is set to be appointed by the president to a vaccine safety committee — a rather dubious appointment if it happens, we must note, since RFK Jr. is one of the more conspicuously loopy anti-vaccine activists in the nation. However, in his December appearance on Lemon’s show, Kennedy offered praise for President Trump the man, saying he “could be the greatest president in history if he wanted to.” Lemon had begun by asking how RFK Jr. felt about comparisons between comparisons between the Trump family and the Kennedys, assuming that he would shoot that line of thinking down. “Well, I think Donald Trump can be, you know, any kind of president he wants. He’s actually — he has this extraordinary opportunity because he’s coming into office less burdened by obligation than probably any president in our history with the possible exception of Andrew Jackson,” Kennedy said. “And you know, both of them, Jackson and Trump came in, they were — people were sickened, they were outraged when Jackson came in and they thought it was the end of the world and he became a — unless you were an American-Indian, he became a very good president in defending the country against corporate power and really democratizing America in many ways.” “(H)e said to Leonardo DiCaprio the other day that he wanted to be the next Teddy Roosevelt, and he can easily do that,” Kennedy continued. “I just have about 10 seconds here, but do you think the new Kennedys, do you think that’s a fair comparison?” Lemon said, wrapping up. “Like I said, I think he can be any kind of president he wants. I think he could be the greatest president in history if he wanted to,” RFK Jr. responded. Now, let’s be clear: President Trump’s occasional bouts of vaccine skepticism are among his less appealing qualities, and Kennedy is clearly cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs when it comes to his opposition to inoculation. As long as appointing Kennedy doesn’t have any actual consequences on vaccination in this country — and we’ve heard nothing to indicate that the committee will have any real impact on public policy — it might have actually been a brilliant move. After all, here’s a liberal environmental lawyer praising Donald Trump — and he’s a Kennedy! Not bad at all in return for a toothless committee appointment. CultureShockNews.com
